Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Yoga and meditation bring about numerous immediate and long-term beneficial changes. But sometimes daily life situations are such that one may find it too difficult to meditate or let alone to perform asanas. These situations perhaps call for a different approach, and one that I gladly recommend is the so-called Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT.

This technique is very much in line with meditation, insofar as it works with energy blocks to tackle the deep emotional layers. In other words, it works on the energy disruptions caused by the emotional trauma. Though I have found it very effective in situations that called for immediate relief, it is used widely for chronic physical and long-standing mental ailments. It aims at rooting out the causes of the condition rather than at simply wiping out the symptoms of it. It is simple and easy to perform on oneself.

The complete manual of what EFT is for, why it works and how to do it, is available for free on its initiator's website http://www.emofree.com. You are kindly advised to read the whole manual in order, from the first to the last page.

Have fun!
